AuditISX is an Open Source utility for auditing Microsoft Windows based workstations, servers, and appliances that have access to the Windows registry, and WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation). The utility can save information audited to a variety of file formats (txt, xml) and database types (SQL, MS Access).

AuditISX was born in 2004, as a simple WMI auditing tool. The original developers named this software SOSOS, which was called Son of Snoop on Steroids. The original Source Code can still be seen on various website souces today.
